I love PHD comics.
By the way, the J-1 application process is more or less painful. Besides, we need to send a lot of documents prior to getting the IAP-66 or whatever form there is to guarantee that we meet all the requirements of exchange visitors. The only good thing I can remember is the interview process is far shorter as to who will pay for our tuition and a host of fees.
