Democracy on weblogs

Jan Pronk - Explaining the Darfur Peace AgreementBeing a netizen does not always mean you are now living in nowhere. The reality is still here and there. Recently, a chief U.N. envoy, Jan Pronk of the Netherlands, was ordered to leave Sudan within three-days period. Medias suspect that it is because of his weblog which recently criticized Sudanese military while there is no reason from Sudanese government.

Twan of Masters of Media well said that “[d]emocracy on weblogs seems to be as democratic as the country you live in.”

This situation is another piece of political evidences proving that the Internet does not always mean borderless.
