Tech Addicts Gone Wild

This is a follow up from my previous post on Internet addiction disorders.

The Internet and mobile phones are blamed as causes for lost kids and teenagers in Thailand as said in the Nation yesterday.  Parents pointed out that their children have been addicted to telephone (1800 phone chat), online chat, and game before they disappeared. 26 unfound kids, reported by Information Centre on Missing Persons to Stop Human Trafficking, have related behaviors.  No report tells how many kids lost in total (26 lost kids out of ??? – so we can know the proportion) and period of time (but I guess one year).

Poor Internet, cellphones, and online games… what should we do?  Ban technology for kid ages under 18?  He He  (You know I’m kidding, right?)
